One of the most popular productivity programs is Office. You don't even need a disc to start installing Office if you have your product key.. Only you should have an internet connection. Method 1: Installing Office 365 and Office 2013 (Windows and Mac) Visit the Office Setup page. 

Open www.office.com/setup in your web browser.

Enter your Office product key. The product key is on the card that came with your retail purchase or in your confirmation email or Microsoft Account page if you purchased online.

·         You can usually retrieve your key using a free key retrieval program like Product Key if you have already installed Office. Click here for detailed instructions.

·         You can buy it from the Office online store or from your local computer retailer if you have not purchased office till now.

Sign in with your Microsoft Account. You can create one for free if you are not having. This will tie Office with your Microsoft Account, which will let you download again in the future without entering the key.

·         At a later date , you can start the download process again  by visiting www.office.com/myaccount

Click the "Install" button. The Office installer will be downloaded to your computer.

Click .Run to start the installation.

·         Double-click the MicrosoftOffice2011.dmg file in your Downloads folder if you are using Mac.

Follow the prompts in the installer. Click Next to move through the installer. You will be given the choice of themes, and a chance to take a quick tour.

Stay online while Office installs. Most of the downloading and installation in the background will be performed by Office

Finish the installation. You can click All done! to close the installer.

Method 2: Installing Office 2010 (Windows)

Find your product key. The product key is required for installing Office 2010, and can be found on your disc packaging, on a card that you purchased at a retail outlet, or in a confirmation email from an online purchase.

·         You can usually retrieve your key using a free key retrieval program like Product Key. Click here for detailed instructions if you have already installed Office 2010.

·         You can buy it from the Office online store, or from your local computer retailer

Insert your Office 2010 disc, or download the installer from Microsoft. The installer can also be downloaded If you can't find your disc but you have your product key

·         If you downloaded the installer, you should be able to find it in your Downloads/My Downloads folder.

Enter your product key. You will need to enter the product key before Office can be installed.

Follow the prompts in the installer. This will allow you to choose which products you want to install and which you don't need, which can save space on your computer.

Finish the installation. Now, click close when finished

Activate Office. Now, Select "I want to activate over the internet" and click Next. This will activate your copy of Office online, allowing you to use all the features.

If you want to activate later, open any Office program and click File → Help → Activate Product Key.
